Decades ago, when Uganda Electricity Board (UEB) was infamous for its’ weekly and inconvienacing load shedding.
I would sit by the window and stare at the moon, fascinated by its’ craters. For in them I could see, a crocodile resting.
It got me wondering, what a crocodile could be doing on the moon without water?
When I got intellectually mature, I discovered they were shadows of craters (large holes in the surface of the moon). This advanced me to another level of curiosity.
What could have caused these craters?
