Today I sat thinking. Yes thinking about so many things that life has in hold for us. It was someone's funeral and she had told people she didn't want to be mourned but wanted everyone to praise God for the life that HE gave her to be a blessing in people's lives.

Oh yes it (her life) was pretty beautiful displayed from all the messages, the flowers and the wreaths I saw. I had never seen so many before and I had taken ages seeing happy people at a funeral. Ok, I know when we talk funeral people shrink back (yeah many fear death's claws) but well it is life's reality and yes it has to be embraced. But how do we do embrace this thing that makes us leave our loved ones behind and takes us to a place we are not so sure of? I thought to myself.

To be truthful no idea has come so perfect than to say well, let me do what I can and leave the rest to God. Leave the rest to those who will pass it on, to those who God has put in place to let it take charge.

Many times we break ourselves. We fail to rest, we annoy others, we get angry, or even try to please others and oh yes we make others happy (of course unless you are so anti social you can't make more people angry than happy) but is it what we are born for?

Now let's take it this way if I smiled to as many people as the sun smiles down on us, how many lives will I have changed?? Of course I don't say that we have to become smiling machines, neither do I say that we have to become donkeys because when we are working we are making others happy. But if we try our best may be then we can say we've have had a fulfilled life.

What about charity? I know one time I said I do not give the street beggars money (yeah of course for reasons well kept to myself and others you well know) but we have to give charity. How about if you went to hospital and gave some time to the sick? Would this do us bad? I guess not? Some children do not go to school? You can save a few bucks to take them to the cheap schools and voila!!! You will have touched a life. Yeah I know after every thing we have to give glory to God because it is him who gives and takes.
We have to sit down every day and look at the wonders that he has done for us and be thankful because others are in tears (oh yes the people of HAITI). Many are in sorrow but you have had time to sit down and read this. Thank God you can see and for the one who got a chance to be read to thank God you can hear.

Lets thank God for the life that he has given us. May you have a blessed 2010.

Thanks for ur wonderfull and encouraging words.If we dont thank God then who else wld we thank.Imagine you go to bed and go to sleep(half dead) and who do u think protects u,not even a cocroach to enter ur mouth or ear bcoz at that very moment ur in another world.At tyms i sit and wonder how this God looks like and how big he is coz he knows us by names en our plans ,when actually ur own parent who bore u dont know anything abt u.Pleas my request is to honour him and give him praises.Jolly

This is great to hear really we need to give thanks to God for the things He has done for us and even for those he has not done because he can do all.Giving is accommand,so please give to the needy from your heart coz is more blessing to give than to receive that's what the Bible tells us.
